Brilliant for the price, packaging could do with some work to really make this the perfect gift.

I bought both of the types in this listing so I will half and half my review so I can review both types.

Dragon Mountain (smaller one):

Firstly, I'm really not happy that all this came in was a box that was barely big enough for the holder, no bubble wrap or anything. Luckily, it didn't break in transit, but others have said theirs have broken.

Overall, the whole thing is brilliant quality and actually really really gorgeous. It does exactly what it should do with the backflow and the pond of smoke.

Dragon Pond (bigger one):

The box for this one wasn't really any better, although it was a proper box with a lid, it still wasn't big enough to fit the dragon in, thus making a dent in the foam that's on top. When you take the foam and the dragon out, it looks like it's a lovely padded box, when in fact, it's just a piece of cloth stuck to a piece of foam. I'd be a bit embarrassed giving this away in such a terrible box, especially when the actual incense holder is very very luxurious.

As I just said, the incense holder is gorgeous and really well made. Again, the whole backflow part works exactly how it should and it looks lovely.

Here is my list of (small) downsides:

1) The cones that come with them both smell TERRIBLE, although the bigger dragon one came with multicoloured cones, they smelt a bit better than the plain brown ones that came with the smaller dragon, but they're still unusable. You can buy cheap replacements online with the holes in, or there are tutorials on YouTube that show you how to put holes in normal cones.

2) Where you place the cones after a few uses show signs of being burnt. Although it does wipe away (eventually), it is a bit of a pain and looks bad if you don't wipe it off. But I suppose that's to be expected.

3) DO NOT put this incense burner flat on a surface that you don't want being ruined! It makes a circular burn mark after even a few seconds of being on the surface, I've actually had to buy paint and paint my windowsill because it burnt it! (as you can see from my photo's, the F1 book will be suffering a lot)

Overall, I am happy with both of these, the smaller one will be a gift and I'm keeping the bigger one which I have so far been using daily. For the price they're great!

I have removed a star for the poor packaging which I think is only fair.
