I have wanted a set of ceramic knives for a very long time. Finally, I broke down and purchased this nice looking set by Lovkitchen.
Upon opening the package, I was (and still am) impressed with the modern ergonomic look of each knife. The set consist of a utility knife, a fruit knife and a paring knife - all with fitted covers to protect the blade and to protect from accidental cutting. In the hand, the knives feel good, as the handles have a taper, which makes them easy to hold. The peeler also has a contemporary look and its vivid purple color makes it simple to find in the kitchen utensil drawer.
Impressed does not even begin to express how I feel about the quality of the knives. So far, they have chopped, diced and sliced with great ease. The knife blades are VERY sharp. Though made of ceramic, they might not look sharp. I tell you though, they are super sharp. Be certain to use the knife covers after hand washing and drying. The peeler whizzed through potatoes and carrots quickly and efficiently. I am very glad to have this handy kitchen helper!
