Great wee things, take 3 AA batteries. Bought to have hanging in a very dark cupboard. Works perfectly. Unfortunately my little boy has now snaffled it to have in his room, for emergencies. Happy to let him have it hanging on his bed as no electricity. Light is very bright and also has a flashing setting. Looks like I'm going to have to buy more!
