The Akaso EK7000 is similar to a GoPro. It works a lot like a GoPro. The videos and photos look similar to the ones coming out of GoPro cameras. Luckily it doesn't have the high price tag that the Go Pro does.
It does its job perfectly, taking pictures, working underwater while snorkelling and swimming in the sea. Both the videos and still shots are great quality.
The unit records for about 90 minutes on one battery charge, and a 32GB card will hold about 4 hours of 1080p video. The quality is great. A separate charger with two spare batteries is essential so the camera does not have to be tied up recharging.
