I was pretty excited about this eyeshadow to arrive after reading a review on it on Amazon. How wrong it was! When the eyeshadow came and I took the lid off - it was covered with tiny balls of material and splattered inside the cover and on the surface of the eyeshadow. Obviously, the eyeshadow had not been mixed properly and it was a mess. I wanted to try it anyway so I got a little on my finger and applied it. Oh my gosh, what a mess. The color was so dense that it put a blob of bright blue where my finger touched my eyelid and the color just stuck there. I couldn't get it to smooth on or even move. Next, I tried a smudge brush and only put a tiny bit on the brush and tried to stipple it on in an effort to be able to gently shade my eyelid. Nope, it just stuck where it put it and when you tried to smooth it on, it left some spots bare and other spots with dark blobs of color. This eyeshadow is a disaster from start to finish. I couldn't even get it to smooth on with a silicone applicator. Are you interested in getting some of this eyeshadow? Don't. Just don't. Don't just walk away...run.
Update: When I read the box the eyeshadow came in, all it said was "if wearing the makeup makes you feel ill, stop wearing it!" Yeah, OMGosh. I went back to the Amazon listing and apparently other folks had the same problem I did so they recommended STIRRING the eyeshadow before use and said the "lotion" was under the paint? Yep, that's what they said. I got a large tapestry needle and stirred the eyeshadow and found there was a layer of vaseline type substance - not lotion - under the metallic paint and hard blobs of paint. I stirred it and then applied it. It went on easily but because the base was a vaseline type product, the eyeshadow just slid off my eyelid with my body's natural heat and went in my eye - irritating it so I had red stinging bloodshot eyes. Serves me right for trying to make it work when I saw there was a serious problem to begin with. Just...don't...buy....this...eyeshadow. Just don't.
