not impressed by the quality of this product

This Star Master LED Nightlight Projector is 4 ¼ inches tall and 4 ¼ inches tall. It needs 3 AA batteries (not included) or a power adapter (also not included) to power the nightlight. The light has 3 different functions which are steady white light, flashing multi-colored light or a combination of steady white and flashing multi-color lights. It projects a 360-degree star and dot pattern on the areas around the nightlight. The closer the light is to an object, the clearer the image is. The farther away the light is from an object, the more light it will cast but the pattern will be less clear.

I will honestly say that I was not very impressed with the quality of this nightlight project especially at the listed price of $34.95. The quality is similar to an item might be purchased at a dollar store and the fact that it does not include a power cable or any batteries brings the value down even more in my opinion.  The product description states that the light has 12 months rotation. The light I received does not rotate nor does it have any information about the months of the year printed around the base of the light and why exactly they are there. The thin plastic ring around the top off the light is a bit warped and does not fit very well. The battery cover is also a completely different shade of pink than the rest of the light. It almost looks as thought it does not belong on this particular nightlight.

I will rate this item at 2 stars simply because of the fact that my daughter really likes the lights and the star pattern. If I had purchased this item at full price, I would absolutely send it back because of the lack of quality and give it a much lower rating. I was very disappointed with this product.
