This is the second set of these Folding Stainless Steel Cultery set that I've purchased and they are just as good as the first. I bought a second set so that I can throw the first into the dishwasher and have another set for my lunch pail. They fold in half so that they take up only a minor amount of room in your lunch box but fold out to just under the size of standard tablewear. They have a small steel loop that slides up on the cutlery to lock them open and it works verywell, even on the knife while cutting with it. They feel good in the hand, not flimsy or like they would easily bend. The knife is actually sharp and cuts meat easily. The fork is sharp enough on the ends so it pierces food with little effort but not sharp enouch to hurt you while using it. And the spoon is deep enough to hold soup or stew without feeling like you are eating with cheap plastic utensils. They wash well in the dishwasher and do not discolor even after repeated washes. My first set I've had for over 1 1/2 years and they still look like new even with daily use. Just remember that they are metal and will set off metal detectors if you need to go through one during your day.

For the price of these utensils you really can't go wrong. They will give you years of use and feel like you are using tabelware like the ones you have at home without the worry of losing them. And the fact that they fold up small for easy transport just keeps adding to their benefit. If you take more than just the standard sandwich in your lunch or even for a picnic you can't go wrong with these. They will save you money since you won't have to buy the disposable plastic utensils anymore and using them is much more enjoyable.
