Paint starting to chip off but it was expected, even the ones my kids use from Thermos have chipped paint. No rust inside and it still serves its purpose.
Be advised. I put wontons with sour cream in it and hours later my husband could barely open it and once he did it content of the jar "exploded" all over his desk at work. Oops. So no sour cream and things that can brew and build up pressure.

My second container from Somiga and I am pleased with both of them. I bought red one in 17 Oz while ago and I liked it so I decided to get larger one as well for my husband. Compared to other well known brand ones we own these are not any different. Quality wise same like others. They haven't rusted or discolored, they keep food hot and cold for a while. Just like with any insulated containers you've gotta care for them properly. No diswasher, no abrasive, heavy duty sponges etc
