When I was given a chance to try out these headphones, I looked over their features and was surprised to see that they could be used as both a headset and a set of speakers. At that point I pretty much had to try them because there are frequently times when I may be listening to something on my phone and want to share it with someone else. Then I either have to unhook the headset and just use the phone (which means reconnecting later) or try to share my headset with someone, which, for some reason, tends to kind of make me nervous. It's not quite like using someone's makeup, and it's not as bad with over-the-ear headphones as it would be with in-ear headphones, but it still makes me cringe a little. This headset helps overcome that obstacle as you can switch from headset to speakers with just the click of a button. That means no disconnecting and reconnecting, or otherwise even having to mess with the headset.

That, by far, is enough to make me love this headset, but there are quite a few nice features to the headset that make it a really good deal for the price. The first is the ability for these to be connected either via wires or Bluetooth. By using a 3.5mm plug, you can connect these to your phone, your tablet, your computer, an MP3 player, or anything else that you would commonly connect headphones to. If you decide that wired isn't for you, they also can connect via Bluetooth, and work from a reasonable distance away (I think it is roughly about 30 feet or so). They are also durable and can be folded up (which lends to their portability). Add a nice rechargeable battery and a microphone to the headset (yes, they can even be used on calls), and you have a match made in heaven for your average headset user.

The reason I say average headset user is because they do have some drawbacks, but to many, these may not necessarily be a deal breaker, especially with the features that you do get for the price. The first issue deals with comfort. If you are going to listen to these for a few hours, then you will likely love them, but I think it would be best to try something else if you are hard core gaming or doing something where you will be wearing the headset for hours on end without some break time in between. The cushions on the ear pieces are nice and thick, but they are not really thick enough or big enough around to cover the whole ear, which may eventually lead to some ear discomfort. Of course, since most people don't wear their headsets for hours on end, this may not even affect you at all. The second issue that may arise with them is sound quality. Everything is there, and they sound good, but I think that these may not work well for audiophiles. If you want a headset that is going to ensure high-fidelity sound reproduction, you may want to go with something a little more pricey, or with other features. Again, much like the other issue I mentioned, most people are not going to see this affect them at all and will love these headphones for all of their great qualities.
