When my grandkids stay the night, I need an extra bed. I like the 3 girls sleeping in the same room and needed something that would fit between the foot of the bed and the wall. This air mattress works great and allows the child who sleeps on the air mattress to be off the ground and up tall like the other 2 girls on the queen bed. I let a different child sleep on it each time, since they tend to fight over whoever GETS to sleep on it!
The air mattress comes with a built in air electric pump. The control panel is on the end of the mattress. There is a compartment that hides the power cord which is easy to remove and plug into any wall plug. I really like how the electric pump is made into the bed so that I don't have store the pump somewhere else.
To use the air mattress, you will need to completely unfold it. Remove the power cord from the storage box and plug it into a wall plug. Turn the knob to inflate and watch the mattress while it inflates. It will take around 3 minutes. Turn the knob to off when you have the desired firmness of the mattress. When you are ready to deflate the mattress, turn the knob to deflate and the air will slowly be removed. The mattress deflates pretty flat and then you will need to open the valve and fold the mattress while pushing the rest of the air out. It only takes 2-3 minutes for it to deflate. I am very impressed at how quickly the bed deflates and is easy to fold afterwards. I am able to fold the mattress and store it back in the original box.
The air mattress comes with 2 patches and 1 glue. You also receive an instruction sheet. I have really enjoyed the mattress. It is comfortable to sleep on and comes in handy when you need an instant bed. I am glad the mattress is thick so that I don't feel like I am laying on the floor. The flock side of the mattress helps the sheet stay in place. I use a deep pocket sheet or a jersey knit sheet.
