There is nothing more fun than using water balloon launchers. We had a few sets of launchers a few years back and the kids had a TON of fun with them. We used them non stop for Scouting events, launching all sorts of things (they work great for egg launchers to test how well the kids engineered protective padding around them to keep them from breaking upon impact). But my two sets of launchers have since broken. The elastic banding on the handles wore out, cracked, and eventually snapped. I wanted another launcher to replace those I had lost, though I am no longer organizing all of the Scouting events. This launcher just happened to cross my path and now it is in my garage.
This launcher is well made and has plenty of stretch and boing to it. The handles for gripping are well stitched in to place and are strong with padding. There is no worry about your hands being rubbed raw from trying to hold them. And they are designed in a way that would make them easy to attach to poles if you don't have anyone available (or tall enough) to hold them for the person launching. The pouch that the balloon sits in cradles it well with a handle on the back that allows you to pull it back and then let loose. Just use caution when putting things in the pouch because they can get stuck in the folds and not launch. It takes practicing a few times before you really get the hang of it.
It also comes with a ton of water balloons to start you off!
Definitley a lot of fun and a great way to keep the kids entertained! If you haven't played with one of these, you are missing out!
