Well made, fits the original Switch

Got this as a Christmas gift for my son so can't comment on the long term durability of it yet, however it feels well made and of a heavy grade plastic. The included changable back plates are a nice addition, with the choices of Spider-Man, Mario, or a solid red plate. I did install it onto his original Switch as the description on Amazon made reference to it being for the original Switch as well as the Switch Lite, and they take different size cases. I also contacted the seller to ask which it was for before purchasing and they reassured me it was not for the Lite.

It fits onto the original Switch tightly without putting too much stress on the game system or itself and does not feel like it will pop off at all. It covers everything it needs to and does not block the scren even with a screen protector installed. The back plates change easily, just popping off and on so you can change the look around whenever you feel the desire to do so. It is not bulky even though it does add some size to the game system, so make sure that any carrying case you may use will accomidate the extra size.

All in all, this is a nicely made, attractive, and functional protective case for your original Switch, and with as expensive as these game systems are, it is worth this extra investment. There are other, more expensive cases available for this system, but you would simply be throwing your money away by purchasing anything else besides this one. A real bang for your buck and a great addition to this game system.
