save time

I purchased this vacuum to use mainly for sweeping up my kitchen at night while I tidy up after dinner and save me some time. It works well at picking up dirt and hair. My daughter and I both have long hair so hair seems to end up everywhere. I did not notice any hair getting tangled around the long sweeping arms but did find a bunch in the vacuums dust bin. When I first received it, I put it on the charger until the light turned solid green but it only ran for less than 1 before the light turned red. I plugged the charger back in and waited until it turned solid green. Again, it only ran a few minutes before shutting down. Finally, I left it to charge overnight and that seemed to do the trick. I have not had any issues with charging it since.

It only runs about 20-25 minutes on a full charge which is plenty enough time to completely sweep my kitchen and breakfast nook. It comes with a remote that I can use to make it go where I want or set it to automatically clean as it senses the room. I have air vents in my kitchen with wooden grate covers on them. The vacuum climbs right over them without any issue. I do not have carpeting in my home so I do not know how it works on that but it did not seem to have any issues cleaning the area rugs I have in the breakfast nook. This vacuum does not have a base that it returns to in order to charge itself. It must be physically plugged in using the included charging cable. It also cannot be scheduled to clean or used with apps and smart home devices. It is a basic robotic vacuum but works for my needs.
