Works for providing privacy during the day, but not at night

I mainly bought this window film for its easy static cling application and stated UV protection to help keep my house cooler during the blazing hot summers here in Arizona. The one way privacy feature was just an added bonus that ended up being more of a hassle than a benefit. It is highly effective at preventing people anyone outside looking in from being able to see anything except their own reflection, but at night, it has the opposite effect, and there could be someone standing directly outside your window watching you for hours and you would never know. Whichever side of the film has the most light, is the side blocked from seeing what's on the other side. So when it's dark outside and you have a light on in your house, anyone can see in, and it prevents you from seeing out. Essentially, this caused me more anxiety discomfort than the so-so UV protection feature actually made a difference, so I ended up buying a different film without the light source controlled one way mirror design. #RankBoosterReview #sponsored #Ablave
