Nice assortment

Thanks to covid and having to homeschool, we are trying to supplement the activities with our own fun things. Since little miss is unable to start preschool, there is no approved curriculum for her like for the older kids, so we are doing our own thing. I picked up these bordered, fancy edge scissors to use for cutting things and adding to the fun of learning. There are 7 different sets of scissors in the package, each with a different design on them. They are easy to use, small enough that her hands can use them, yet large enough that I can easily use them myself. The scissor blades are made of stainless steel, while the scissor handles are made of plastic. They are kid friendly and are designed to be safe. The Amazon listing says they cannot cut fingers or hair, but I did not test that out. Regardless, any time a child uses scissors, they should be supervised by an adult until they are older. In my case, she will not be using these without my assistance at all since she is 4 and just beginning to learn how to use them while developing the fine motor skills needed to open and close. All of that said, I am pleased with this set of scissors and foresee much use from them over the next few months or until schools open up once again.
