great for science activities and learning about dinosaurs

My daughter likes to have little projects on the go all the time. I thought this would be a good one for her because she likes dinosaurs. She really enjoyed some dinosaur bath bombs that I gave her and this is a step up from that, where she gets to be the archaeologist. It is a large egg and will keep kids busy and entertained for a long time. There are 12 dinosaurs to find in total and some really unique ones that I had never seen before, so we all get to learn something new. I like that, in addition to the dinosaurs, there are informational cards for each of them as well. I was surprised that the dinosaurs are a decent size, considering how many of them were fit inside that egg. The good thing about there being so many is that she was always kept interested. She wasn’t searching forever to reveal the next dinosaur to unearth. I highly recommend setting up on something like a large cookie tray so that everything is contained and they can peck away at it over time or do this activity outside. She had a lot of fun with this.
