I've been straightening my hair for over half my life and I've tried a full array of brands and types. This ceramic flat iron isn't at the top of my list, but it does have some great features.
1. I love the adjustable temperature. I have fine hair and the flat irons that have one temperature always fries my hair, so I love that I can turn this one down to the perfect temperature for my type of hair.
2. The size. The flat iron isn't too large and isn't too small. It's light and easy to use without your arms getting tired.
3. The durability. You can tell that they made this flat iron to last. The cord especially is very thick and I really like that because the cord is generally the reason I have to replace my straighteners.
4. The price. I've paid over $100 for a name brand flat iron and it was worth every penny because it was designed for my hair type and it had everything I was looking for, but when it kicked the bucket I wasn't in a place financially to buy another. This flat iron works great and it's not going to hurt your wallet either.
Now to what I don't like, which is mainly just due to my hair type . The flat iron doesn't close fully so I can't get a good grip on my fine hair. While it does work for the most part, my hair slips out and I can't get a good, even straightening. So, I still gave the product 5 stars because it is durable and I like it...but, if you have fine hair like me, you may want to get a flat iron made for thin/fine hair.
