I own quite a few rings that all seem to fit the same fingers for some reason, but every time I try to move them to a different finger, they are too loose. I remember, when I was a teenager, that we would wrap a ton of colored string around the bottom edge of a ring until it fit snugly. Over time, it would fray, start to discolor, and eventually even smell a bit weird. It was very noticable if you turned your hand over and, while effective, wasn't overly attractive. Now that I'm an adult, I've decided that this is not the greatest way to take care of my jewelry, and started looking for an alternative. When I saw these, I knew I had to try them. Let's just say that it is night and day compared to when I was a kid. These are easily adjustable, don't take forever to wrap and wrap and wrap, and don't start to discolor and fray. I'm making the assumption that they won't smell weird either, mainly because they are oil resistant and not made of string that absorbs the scent of everything. They make sure that my rings stay on, and that they fit snugly, while not detracting from the ring itself. All in all, this is a nice way to keep oversize rings on your hand, where they belong.
