I didn't have really high expectations for this product when I ordered it. I figured it would be a nice novelty to try out in some craft projects and ten eventually toss in an aquarium once I got frustrated. I was pleasantly surprised once the pebbles arrived. Yes, the listing says what size they are, but I really didn't expect anything much bigger than normal fish tank gravel. Instead, these pebbles are around the size of a large, slightly flattened grape. They are a little lightweight, tho since they are made out of resin. If you live somewhere windy like I do (Oklahoma....) then there is a chance the wind could move them around, depending on where you put them. Since I plan to use these in craft projects (fairy globes and whatnot), I won't have to worry about the wind.
The pebbles really do put off a nice glow. I am a little amazed at how brightly they glow after just sitting on the windowsill for a few hours. I'm sure once they are out on display all the time, they will glow even brighter! The listing says the glow lasts 2-3 hours. I haven't sat up to watch how long they glow, but I did see them still glowing when I woke up in the middle of the night, so it would appear they definitely are going to last several hours.
Each pebble is smooth to the touch, without rough edges or seams. Even tho the description says they are tasteless, I didn't put one in my mouth. Yet. I'm sure at some point I'll goof around just to see my mouth glow.
