This blanket is worth its weight in gold! I don't sleep well at night. I toss. I turn. I stress. I also get excellent at math! "Go to sleep now, I'll get 4 hours of sleep" "Go to sleep now, I'll get 3 hours and 15 minutes of sleep" You get the idea.
I added this weighted blanket to my bed and I can't explain it other than it gives me a sense of calm.
The blanket is large 72" by 48" with well sewn seams.
The blanket weighs 15 pounds. The weight is evenly distributed between squares 5" squares.
The material is a nice heavy weight, soft cotton. The inside beads don't feel sharp or uncomfortable. It's almost the feeling of a sandy beach without the mess.
Absolutely love sitting in a chair covered in this blanket reading a book.
I am thoroughly pleased with my purchase. I even like the deep gray color.
