Supportive!

 

My husband is currently training for a big run with some co-workers, so has been out hitting the pavement a lot lately. I noticed he has been wearing knee braces when running and am having to wash them often, so wanted to pick up another matching set for him. He has two different sets he is using currently, one matching, the other mismatched, so I got this one that has two matching sleeves so that he doesn't have to mismatch any more.  

They are well made, with stretchable material that holds shape well and provides great support. It has silicone edging on the inner side around the top opening to help it stay in place. It is thin and lightweight, allowing you to wear it under your clothing or with shorts. They are made of nylon, latex, and spandex fabric, so are fine to put in the washing machine. I don't know about the dryer, choosing to lay out braces out to air dry.

Though it is stretchy, you may want to check the sizing to be sure you get the best fit. Their listing does not allow you to select a size, though, so you'll have to hunt for one that is the size you need. This option is Large and fits 19.5-22".

This is definitely something I recommend for those who are in to outdoor activities, sports, or who have weaker knees. It offers great support and is breathable and lightweight.
