Works great to help my husband keep his injured knee stabilized

I bought this compression knee brave in hopes it would be able to help ease some of the pain and discomfort he suffers everyday due to an old knee injury. He works full time, and by the end of the day, he knee causes him a great deal of pain and has a tendency to pop out of place and lock itself that way until he pops it back in, which as you can image, is extremely painful and the more often it happens, the easier and more likely it is to stretch the ligaments out and happen again. Like other open patella knee braces, it pits securely over his knee cap, and provides stratchy compression around his knee, which help keep it more stabilized than without it. But this Brace has a few upgraded features that my husband says make a huge difference. First, unlike other similar style braces, this one has a rubbery silicone band all the way around the inside at the edge of the top, which grips and holds the brace right where you first put it on. No more sliding or slipping down throughout the day or needing to be pulled up and readjusted. Secondly, it comes equipped with two sextra elastic bands that start on each side just below the knee that each get pulled up, in opposite directions of each other, wrap up and around the knee, and then gets velcroed above the knee, on the opposite side it started from. This has a similar effect as using kinesiology tape, as it provide a lifting effect while also adding extra support around the patella while creating a cradle-like support as well. The addition of these two features sets this knee brace above the rest. I'm happy to report my husband says this brace is more effective at relieving his pain both at the end if his day, as well as throughout his workday. He couldn't be happier with this purchase.
