I purchased ths Crucifix for my grandson as something he could wear everyday to school or church or even go swimming in. This Crucifix by #Wowsweet is perfect and checks all the boxes. It's stainless steel so it won't turn while swimming or make his neck turn green and so is the wonderful chain that's substantial. It's got a nice bale on it too so even if you don't like the included chain (which I do) you can pretty much fit any chain that you'd like. At $14.99 it's a great price point for a preteen's first good chain so if it does somehow get lost it's not devastating. I love how it gives the look of 14 Kt white gold but is only stainless steel and the Jesus on the cross is very detailed. Definitely a must have piece you'll want to give as a first piece of jewelry for a preteen to take care of.
