I like to decorate my yard for the holidays but I don't always have access to a power supply where I wish to hang accent lights. This set of solar power string lights from TUMURPEAK are perfect for me. I can use these lights anywhere I wish because they use a solar panel to power them. They charge up during the day and come on automatically when the sun goes down. I always make sure that the button on the solar panel is pushed to ON so that the lights are in auto mode. The lights will run for 5-8 hours on a full charge.
There are 30 cute little orange pumpkin globes on the strand and each pumpkin has a warm white LED light inside. The globes are 1 inch tall and 1 inch wide. The string is 19.7 inches long and the globes are spaced about 6 inches apart. The length of the wire from the solar panel to the first globe light is about 5 feet long so the panel can be placed a good distance away from the light strand if you wish to hide the panel out of sight. The panel comes with a ground stake to mount it on and it can be adjusted to get the perfect angle for the best exposure to the sunlight. The solar panel has two buttons on the back that are controlled by clicking the buttons. One button controls the on/off function of the light strand and the other button chooses between the modes. The light strand has two modes of lighting effects. The first mode has all of the lights steady on and the second mode has all of the lights flashing at the same time.
The light strand is waterproof and can be used indoors or outdoors. If using the light strand indoors, I would suggest placing the panel in a sunny window for it to charge. This light strand would be great used as party lighting or decorating for Halloween.
