50 SEED PODS FOR STARTER PLANTS

~ What ~
This set contains 50 soil pellets to grow starter seed plants. Measuring 1.4 inches in diameter, they expand 4 times their size when water is added, allowing plenty of rooting in their soil. With the soil containing a pH value of 5.5-7, most flower and vegetable seeds can germinate in them. They arrive in a cellophane bag without instructions, ready for using or giving.

~ Why ~
Since I cannot find a particular ground cover at any of our local nurseries this year, I bought several packets of seeds for starters. These peat pods are ideal for promoting growth in the seeds as they can be watered easily several times a day. I like that they are self-contained and there is little mess of getting dirt everywhere.

~ Why Not ~

If you do not like gardening or making starts of plants all year long or before the frost is finished, these would not interest you. Others may wish the pods were larger in size and it stated online what the pH was. Some may find it tedious to tear off the circular center where the seeds are placed.

~ Wish ~
It would be thoughtful to include a plastic tray to hold the pods in while growing.
