Perfect lightweight shorts for summer

Even though it's only the beginning of February, here in Arizona we already have 80° temps in the coming weather forecast, so I wanted to get a few new spring/summer outfits now since summer usually hits without much warning here. These NEWFANGLE Women’s Cotton Linen Causal Shorts Comfy Beach Short Drawstring Elastic Waist Shorts are exactly what I was looking for. They are 100% cotton, which is essential in order to stay cool out here, and unlike some other non-name brand shorts I bought recently, these are NOT see through in the sunlight! The side pockets are just big enough to be functional without adding bulk to the sides so they don't give you that saddlebag look either. The very strong, thick elastic waistband and design stitching along the bottom are my only complaints about these. The elastic piece in the waistband is very wide and thick, so it sinches and bunches alot more than I'd like and looks old lady-ish if it's not covered by your shirt, and because of how the bottom has is stitched with a 2 layer hem modal, unless you iron them, the hem always wrinkles/folds kinda cadywompus. Even when ironed correctly, the stitching makes itook like the hem is creased all weird and not straight, so if they aren't ironed in place it really accentuates the unevenness and weird wrinkle/creased wrong look to them. Other than that, they are very lightweight, breathable, and come in colors that fit just about any wardrobe, which when it stays over 110° out here, even overnight, all that matters is having something that helps keep you cool and comfortable, which these shorts do both, so I'm happy. =)
