Cute, but not good for blocking rays

This style of sunglasses is not typical for me, but I thought they would be a fun pair to wear for the Fourth of July, so placed my order in plenty of time to receive them before the festivities begin. And they arrived in plenty of time for me to get to use them.   The glasses are rimless and entirely clear. They are actually thicker and stronger than I thought they would be, expecting them to be more like safety glasses. But they are definitely thick and will stand up to quite the abuse. Being entirely clear, I don't really see them blocking the sun much and really working all that well as sunglasses, but they will be fun to wear regardless. They come with a drawstring pouch, a hardback case, and a cleaning cloth.   You can get these in a few different colors, but I opted for the clear red since I got them for the 4th. I am not sure if the other colors would be any better for blocking the sun's rays or not. I haven't worn them outside for sun protection at this point, since I have other sunglasses I use for that purpose, so I can't say how good they really are. But I plan to wear them in a few days while I am out in the pool with the family.   Not a bad set of glasses and far better than I expected quality wise.
