Not worth it

I wear a lot of black and black sweaters. And because I have so much, I am always looking offset with jewelry that is long and silvery to stand out against it, or super short and trendy choker styles. Unfortunately, my chokers have been very limited, so I haven't had much to use. I figured this set would be great for me since you get 9 in 1 set and it meant I didn't have to wait and buy piece by piece over time. Instead I got them all in one set and have plenty to choose from now!   This set comes with 9 different chokers that are all black and of varying styles and designs. Some have longer dangling pieces, others are strictly choker. Some are more ornate, others plain. Some are corded, some stitched, and all cute. But all come in one set, which makes it super convenient.   Most of the chokers are perfectly fine, though some did have some loose threads on them that can easily unravel the entire thing. I had to sit and stitch them back in to place with black thread on my own, which is not something I really like doing. When I buy something, I want to know that it is good to go, straight out of the package. But given the entire set of all 9 is only $5.99, you get what you pay for. I would normally find that to be a bargain steal for one piece, not nine.   And sadly, a few of the chokers don't fit around my neck. I don't have a fat neck, a thick neck, or anything like that, but when a choker can be worn as a loose anklet, you know it is small. There are at least 4 of the 9 that I can't wear at all. For me, that is not a good thing, considering I purchased a set that was supposed to have 9 chokers that I could wear with my different outfits.   I also had some trouble with a few of the clasps. They refused to budge. I had to wreslte with them to get them open. Then once open, they didn't want to shut. They were a total waste. AndI wasn't going to sit and stitch on new clasps to fix them. For the price I paid, it wasn't worth it.   Not happy with this set at all and would not recommend it to anyone unless you have a junior high daughter with a tiny neck who might want some cheap jewelry to wear. But even at that, I don't know that I would buy it for my daughter. I expect higher quality items for my family and don't want to spend money on things I am going to throw away.
