We installed this light down slightly midway on one side of our front porch. The area there is very dark and unless we used a flashlight it's always been hard to tell what our dogs were doing when we let them out after dark. In the mornings we sometimes would wake up to "OK WHO DID THIS!!!" So on the last run out for the night with 3 of our 6 furbabies not in crates we needed to be sure everyone done their business before bed.
This has worked well as the light comes on when they enter the area that once was just darkness. It shines bright enough to light up the entire side of that part of our yard. Sometimes when I go out late to smoke the light will come on and I will hear the rattle of our fence (stray cat jumping over) it's been a great light, very bright!
