This is the perfect device for the teen that likes to listen to his music or the adult to listen to his audio books. In addition, it can play certain video formats, text files, photos, and has a built in FM radio receiver. Headphones need to be plugged in for FM radio, as it uses the headphones as the antenna. Also, it can be used as a voice recorder for taking notes at meeting, etc. Also, clock and alarm built in. It does about everything!!
It has excellent tonal quality and can take a micro-sd card, extending it's memory from 8gb up to 128gb max, depending on the size of the card installed. Another advantage to using an sd-card is that you can put the card into your computer and copy MP3's, photos, etc directly to the card instead of having to use the USB tethering cable (included). The USB cable also recharges the unit's rechargeable bttery.
The unit has a color screen that measures about 1.75 inches diagonally. Overall dimensions of the unit are approx 3.5 x 1.75 inches. It is made of metal (not plastic) and it has the look and feel of a quality product.
To play music or other files from SD-card, you must use the product's 'BROWSER' and choose the music folder from your card.
