Easy charging

I love the capabilities of wireless charging. So much more convenient than having to find a cable and plug things in, especially when you have a family who keeps stealing all of your cables. I have picked up QI capable charging pads in the past, but so far I have yet to use one for myself. I saw this one and thought it would work for my computer desk. It is small, thin, and wouldn't take up much space - making it something I could easily put on my desk and set my phone on while I worked. Before I could even test it out my younger son said, "Oh! A wireless charger! I need one of those. Can I have this? I keep forgetting to plug my phone in at night." So it has gone to his room. But that is okay. I went in and tested this pad with my phone. When I have my case on my phone it won't charge. The case is too thick for it to connect and charge. If I take the case off, my phone immediately connects and begins charging. So it wouldn't have worked for me anyway. Funny though how it does work with my son's phone case, though. He doesn't have to take it out of the case to make it connect. He just has to lay it on the pad and it immediately begins charging. He is super happy to have this and now he actually charges his phone - and not just at night. It was a great purchase for him.
