great for learning about and celebrating Cinco de Mayo

I purchased these mini headband hats for my daughter and I to use while we are learning about Cinco de Mayo. The package came with two hats and two headbands. It includes a black felt hat with red hanging pom-pom balls and a straw hat that resembles a tradition sombrero with colorful trim. The hats come disassembled and did not include any instructions but it was simple to assemble. The hats each have 2 elastic loops on the inside and the headband just slips right into the loops. I put in one end of the headband and twisted it through until I was able to put the end into the second loop and continued to twist it through until it was even.

The headbands were comfortable to wear and are covered to avoid digging into the skin. The black hat’s headband is covered with the same black felt as is on the hat and the straw hat’s headband is covered with a soft silk ribbon type material. They do fit securely on the heads of adult or children and we did not experience any issues of them slipping off as we danced around. These would be great for costumes and parties. Nice quality and great value.
