I am getting more and more into ultralight backpackin/ hiking. Most ultralight things are expensive and delicate. This item is a nice alturnaltive to some of the higher priced "quilts" that are all the rage. While not cheap it is certainly afforable, and has held up well even with my dog climbing on it! I would say it is more durable than most of the others, and without added wieght, and the configuration options are super. I am a bigger guy at 6'3" and 225# in the sleeping bag configuration it is very tight and a little small, almost unusalbe, however in quilt mode it works well for my size. This thing is super light and compact too. I can stuff it down to a little bigger than a nalgene bottle, and its so light i don't notice its in my pack! It is warm, but not overly hot, I am a cold sleeper and could only use this for a few months during the summer in hotter weather. I'd rate it to about 50-60 F degrees. If you are looking for a cheap warm weather alturnative to test out the waters, this would be a great choice!
light, lots of configurations, very durable (for UL), packable size
size (small for bigger guys), temp rating (only good for warmer weather, imo)
