Beautiful Bowl

Not sure what I am going to be doing with this beautiful bowl yet, since I am not a tea drinker and don't know that I would want to use this bowl for drinking from anyways. It is so pretty. I don't want to mess it up!   I am very impressed by the artwork in it. It is a phoenix scale pattern etched throughout the inside and outside of the bowl. The bowls are all handcrafted and the detail is impressive. They are very well made and I am amazed to think they are all handcrafted because it looks so good.   The bowls are all crafted using a special metal clay that is supposed to make the water pure and the tea taste better. But since I didn't make any tea to use it, I cannot say if that is true or not. The listing on Amazon also says the color of the water will change because it is infused by JianZhan. The practice of tea drinking is as much aesthetic as it is for the drink itself, so there is a huge emphasis on the look of the stoneware as well as the drink itself. It is designed to be a spiritual experience, from making the tea to finishing it off. And these tea cups are designed with that in mind, masterfully crafted to provide the most positive experience possible.   I just think they look amazing and don't want to use it. I would rather display it and let others admire the craftwork involved. It also comes in a very nice case that you can store it in for protection. It would make a wonderful gift.
