PACKAGING: The item arrives in a compact cardboard Box. It also comes with an additional USB port in case the 2 different styles of input ports do not match your device.
EASE OF USE: very simple!! Of course it has instructions but it is very self explanatory!! My Surface Book did not recognize the 2 ports that are on the bottom of the device, so I had to use the extra one they included.
BOTTOM LINE: I was worried I'll never be able to use my Rosetta Stone learning disks anymore but now that I have this, I can use it to learn, watch/listen to CDs and DVDs from years ago. I can even burn music to a blank disk so that I have music for roads with no cell service. Totally worth the price. Compact and easy to put away when not in use.
