In the days since receiving this white noise machine, it has become an essential part of my 10-month-old son's bedtime routine! He quickly drifts off to sleep when the lovely lullaby music plays softly nearby.
The first time he ever heard the noise machine play music his face lit up and it made me so happy! I could tell it was something that he truly was enjoying and I knew instantly that the little orange device was going to have a place in our home for a long while to come.
I really like that it has a great range of volume. It plays softly or at a louder level that drowns out all other noises in a pleasant way. The lullabies, though there aren't many to choose from, are sound very relaxing and happy too. They sound very nice and I am able to identify the songs.
An extra bonus that I found in this is that the nature sounds help me fall asleep more easily! I am a life long insomniac. So that is a huge plus for me. I have so far gotten two great nights of sleep since discovering that the nature sounds are soothing for me. I even got a short nap in on the first day! What?! That's incredible haha.
It has convenient buttons placed on the side of the device that easily change the song or sound to the one you wish to hear. The volume buttons are on each side of the button for controlling the sound choice and then there is my most favorite button of all!!! The timer button!! It is my favorite extra feature that is included with the noise machine. It helps make the charge last longer on the speaker. It cuts off automatically without issue and the timer goes up to 90 minutes. For me, that is plenty of time for both my 10-month-old and myself to fall asleep.
I suggest to anyone on the edge about purchasing this to do it! Go for it! YOU NEED IT!
OH! One more thing there is a nice closure to prevent baby from spitting into the charging area haha so they can safely for them and for the device hold the speaker if they want! For my son, it helps him if I place the speaker in his bed with him. He loves it SO much! I feel safe allowing him to handle it because of that thoughtful inclusion to the noise machine.
