Very easy to setup. Goes into pairing mode once plugged in. You can scan the QR code on the instructions sheet or just go into the app store of your choice and download the app. A really nice feature about this wifi plug is that you don't need one of those expensive central hubs to control it. Need a smart phone or an Amazon Alexa device.
The app is really easy to setup and use. If you don't have an Alexa but still want to use voice to control the switch as there is a voice assistant built right into the app.
Love the compact size Uses 10Amps so would not recommend kitchen appliances that needs more power. I use it for my bedroom lamp and also to control turning on/off TV.. Through the app, I set my light to turn on and off at specific times, but I use Alexa through my phone to turn it on off during any other time of the day.
