Adorable and well made!

Little missie loves to play pretend in her little kitchen with her various play toys, so these looked to be perfect for her. Of course, she had no clue what a rolling pin was used for since she has never seen me use one before. I don't make things that require rolling out dough too often, and most of the time she is not allowed in the kitchen when I am working, so wouldn't have seen it regardless. These were the perfect size for her. They are kid sized for sure, whether little kiddos like her, or older kids - perfect for pretend play or mini-kitchen helpers. They are also well made. I was impressed with how sturdy they are. They have a thick silicone pad on them for the roller that is well attached and not loose. It rolls smoothly and easily without catching or getting stuck. There are no flaws in it, so the roll is smooth, making for perfectly flat dough or play dough or whatever you might be rolling. The wooden handles on the ends are tapered to fit the hands nicely and are thick enough that little hands can easily grip them. She had a previous rolling pin from her other kitchen play set and it is cheap and flimsy, especially when put side by side with these. I am far more impressed with these. The challenge has been teaching her how they are to be used. Right now she thinks she has to roll our arms and legs, which actually feels kind of good on tired muscles. She has had fun playing with them though. One is red and one is blue and she now knows red from blue, though sometimes she calls the blue one green (we are still working on colors). Great set!
