We've been through a lot of RC cars here over the years. They have all been fun, but the Sharkool RC Car has some great features that make it worth getting.

First, it's fast and zippy! All four wheels provide power. Most older RC cars only have two wheels with power, and the others are just for steering or balance. So this is fast and responsive. Also, because the wheels can pivot on the sides, it keeps the car from getting stuck on the edge of a section of ground. The 4WD lets you crawl over edges of concrete and keep going! The tires are rubber and grippy, so this thing zooms down the sidewalk!

This will get a lot of use when the kiddos stack up empty cardboard boxes into a "fort" and have the good guys attack it with their super-car.

There are a couple of green lights on the front which show you which way is forward. This is important, because this car uses "tank steering" instead of "car steering." The left stick controls the left wheels, and the right stick controls the right wheels. Push both sticks up to make the car go forward, pull them down to make it go back, and push one up and the other down to make it spin in place. Then when it's stopped spinning, look for the lights to know which way it's facing. This type of steering is pretty typical in RC cars but can take some getting used to.

The package comes with everything you need to get going: Two rechargeable batteries for the car, a charger that plugs into a USB power supply, batteries for the remote, and a small screwdriver to open the car and the remote so you can put in the batteries.
