This appears to be a high quality product and I anticipate getting many years of use from it. This is the perfect mat for summer. It's a very comfortable and non-slip surface on the top. I've always had a glass desk, and was always searching for something to put down in the summer to prevent uncomfortable sticking to the desk. It has a very subtle texture that does not prevent writing notes/checks/etc directly on the pad.
