This is great little torch and very powerful beam for size.The operating button is on end of handle it’s a push button and will take you through all beams.It has very bright white beam as well as a flashing white beam great for disco lol or as hazard warning BUT it was the black light my daughter loved most she went all CSI on me examine each room and was really quite scary and gross rooms and objects that looked perfectly clean has luminous dots
