My teen and I purchased these to make little pamper beauty baskets for her friends that she doesn't get to see anymore because they moved away or they are doing online school. She is only making 6 sets, so we had two leftover. I kept the two black for us to use. The eight are each packed individually and include two each of black, grey and white, and then one each of pink and purple, as is shown in the photo. I have a large head and these still fit me. I have never used actual headbands meant for this purpose, usually just tossing my hair up in a bun and maybe adding a thin headband, but I was surprised how much I prefer using a thick width spa headband. When I put on a mask yesterday, I actually kept it all on my face and was able to prevent the little flyaways getting mask on them. The headbands are easy to apply and will fit a decent amount of head ranges from tweens to adult. I did not try on any of the younger kiddos, but I believe it would be a little bulky on them. The headbands are on the thinner side, yet still feel soft and slightly plush. I will toss in a lingerie bag to wash these after each use. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality and how much of a difference this made in ease of application and during a beauty treament. I would purchase again if the need arises.
