My 13-year-old is a self taught guitar player who plays non-stop. He now has a ukele, an acoustic, 2 electric guitars, and an acoustic/electric, plus two small amps. I cannot tell you how many guitar cables we have gone through over the past few years, or how many sets of strings. And it was again time to pick up a new cable for him. Needless to say, he is not gigging, so this is only for home use.   This cable is 10 feet in length, wrapped in an attractive looking braided cloth jacket for protection. The Amazon listing also says they are double shieled for better sound and transfer with less pickup or static. The cables have Oxygen-Free Copper for both the center conductor and the insulator shield, which honestly means nothing to me, but my son says this is good. The connectors are 6.3mm mono plug with nick finish, one side being straight, the other an L bend. It is a very nice looking cable overall.   My son says it works great for his needs. He plays in his bedroom, so doesn't have a lot of room to move about, but he does move a lot and really gets in to his playing. The cable lays flat when playing, unlike what others have claimed in their Amazon reviews about holding the bends from being coiled for storage/transit, and moves with him as he works his way around while playing. The connectors have stayed in the amp with no wiggle or looseness and haven't fallen out or created static. He loves the length of it and says it is working perfectly with his different guitars and Fender amp.   Talking with my son he said the cable felt like using any other cable, but seemed to give a slightly better output. One negative he did point out was that some cables begin to knot and coil up on itself after a few weeks of use, but this cable seemed to do that after his first use. He was a bit surprised at this, not expecting a new cable to do that so soon. He worries about the long range quality of the sound and whether the self-coiling may break down the integrity of the internal wiring and cause more static and interference later on.   And as a mom having to replace things like this nonstop, I am very happy with the price. I don't mind having to get new things for him when he is being creative and exploring music, but sometimes the cost gets so high on things. I am always looking for the deals and steals, so this was a blessing when I saw it. I am able to let him test things and continue to work with his creative side without breaking the bank.  So far, great cable from a great company.   #RankBoosterReview #Sponsored  #Mugig #mugigguitarcable #mugigcable #guitarcable #guitaraccessories #guitarist #cable #straighttorightangle Get yours today! http://amzn.to/2p3HbhO
