This is an amazing knife sharpener. I've actually bought a few lately without any good results until now. This knife sharpener actually repairs dull, chipped knives. There are three different stages to this knife sharpener. There are diamond rods for sharpening ceramic knives,tungsten blades to sharpen dull, blunt knives and,ceramic rods to sharpen honing knives. I've actually sharpen every knife in my kitchen and the ones my husband and boys use. It has a sturdy handle to grip which keeps your hands and fingers out of the way so you don't cut yourself and a non-sliding base to keep it from moving all over the place when you're sharpening your knives. I love this sharpener.
