Everything seems to be coming up silicone now a days. It really is a versatile material to work with. This loofah/body scrubber is really great. You get great lather and it’s gentle on your skin. It feels so good and you don’t have to worry about it falling apart like you do with the puffy loofahs. If you wanted to gently massage your head you can do so with the shorter stubby bristles. My hair tangles easy so I can’t “brush” my scalp with this but I put it on my head and wiggle it on my scalp. When you are done, just gotta rinse it out and it’s clean. Sooo much more hygienic than a washcloth or puffy loofah. It also included a holder for it that you suction cup to the wall. Great product!
