I love it, mama cat loves it, the two kittens love it. It's the perfect entertainment when ur home or away. U can power it by AA battery (not included) or the USB cord that comes with it. The toy has a auto-shutoff feature after 15 min of use. The toy stays in sleep mode for three hours before powering back up for another 15 min. The tilt of the laser can be adjusted on its vertical axis so you can angle it to where you want the laser to land. The pattern consists of random curves in a steady rhythm. The unit itself is adorable and reminds me of a cat in a spacesuit. Id give it 5 stars if it had an option to change the speed and delay of the laser show. I think it would better engage the cats natural instincts and mimic the stalking of prey. It would be nice if it included a way to mount it as well.
