A family member's laptop broke so to help them out i offered to lend them my old laptop till they could afford to buy one. Being an old laptop running Windows 7 wasn't a problem for the relative but they were used to having built in Bluetooth which wasn't a feature on my old laptop. i thought the easy solution would be to get a USB Bluetooth dongle which hopefully would work wit the old laptop.
This Bluetooth dongle from Osgear also comes with with software on a mini CD but as it had "Driver Free" written on the dongle I hoped that it would just install itself when plugged into a USB port. Unfortunately this was not the case and I had to use the mini CD that was supplied. After a bit of messing about I eventually got the dongle to install and managed to connect my Bluetooth headphones to the laptop and stream music from the laptop to the headphones.
I'm sure that this will make the old laptop more usable for my family member and for more information on this Osgear USB Bluetooth dongle, including where you can buy it and it's current price, please follow the link below:-
