affordable, works great

We had one of those popular doorbell cameras and were really limited in how much area we could really see. By the time I knew a delivery had arrived, the driver would already be gone because he drops the package at the edge of the porch slightly out of range of the doorbell cam. They usually will not climb the steps to get to the door.
This camera helps to solve that situation. We mounted it above the door and can see our entire front yard. This camera not only lets me see when someone arrives but also lets me safely communicate with them without having to open my door. I can see, hear and respond to them through this camera from an app on my phone. The app also lets me monitor things while I am away from home and sends me alerts whenever it detects movement.
The waterproof camera has 1080P resolution and night vision up to 33 feet so I can see what is happening whether it is day or night. It also has a setting to automatically turn on a loud alarm signal whenever motion is detected to possibly deter an intruder. The camera can record to a microSD card up to 128G which is not included or you can pay a subscription fee for their cloud storage service.
The camera can be installed using an ethernet cable or wirelessly connect to a router through your homes wifi network. It will not work with a 5G network. I have a dual band router so I had to make sure that my 2G and 5G connections had different settings to prevent the camera from trying to connect to the 5G network. The app lets up to five devices connect to a single camera and states that it is compatible with iOS and Android devices. I could not get the app to recognize the camera when I installed it on my iPad running the latest iOS software but I had no problems setting the camera up from my husband's android phone.
The camera is affordable, works great and is easy to install.
