This isn't your typical peg game

I got this stacker toy as a gift for one of my granddaughters because I like to get them toys that are both fun and educational. Even though she is a bit younger than the recommended age, she is learning how to use it a little at a time. Keep in mind that this is recommended for children three years and older, so be sure to supervise little ones carefully while at play. The toy consists of a base board with 4 different pillars, and 16 pieces that fit onto the pillars. These are all brightly colored, so kids will love them, and it helps them to learn their colors while they play. The pieces come in different shapes, and each have a hole to fit over one of the pillars. This isn't your typical peg game though in that the pillars have nubs sticking out in different directions so only certain pieces can slide all the way down any given pillar. My granddaughter is too young to figure this out yet, and just enjoys putting them onto the pegs. Children who are slightly older or more advanced will be able to solve the puzzle and place the pieces correctly. This toy is made of plastic, and is just over six inches square.
