I have a semi-regular routine that I try to follow by washing my makeup brushes at least once a month with gentle soap and a nubby silicon mat to swish them against for friction. I’ve just upgraded my cleaning routine with a simple makeup brush cleaner! Sure my swishing in soap was working, but it took a little while and then I’d have to leave my brushes hanging upside down for a day (sometimes two) to let them fully dry. An electric brush spinner spins the brush so fast that it froths the soap like a barista froths hot milk. A little extra spinning and the bulk of the remnant soap and water fling right back off into the cleaning bowl… they feel nearly dry to the touch immediately. Niiiiice. I still let them dry overnight to be safe (and not encourage bacteria in the damp bristles) but it doesn’t take as long. This set has various size holders that can hold any size brush I have. FYI it also works on paint brushes!
